Termisil Glass-Works Wołomin S.A., the Polish producer of heat-resistant glassware for household and industrial purposes has been present on the market since 1905.

Since 2001 the company's owners have been: Janusz Michna – President of the Management Board and Anna Malczewska-Michna – Vice-President of the Management Board.

The Company has its own brand of borosilicate glass Termisil produced using a technology developed by the Company itself in the course of its extensive activity.

Termisil is one of two glassworks in Central and Eastern Europe producing heat-resistant (borosilicate) glass and its products have gained recognition in 40 world markets, such as France, Russia, the Netherlands, Japan or the USA. Over 30% of the glassworks’ output is exported and the volume is growing continuously. The Company employs over 230 persons.

The product portfolio consists of more than 140 Termisil glass objects and is currently extended onto new products based on original designs.

Termisil Glass-Works Wołomin is currently running an investment project whose execution will allow the Company to increase production output capacity six times.

There are two production lines of thick-wall pressed glass operating at the Company, where the following products are manufactured:

• Heat-resistant kitchen glassware of a capacity ranging from 1 litre to 8 litres
• Technical products e.g. glass doors for automatic washing machines, glass elements for household appliances

And there is thin-wall glass production line where 0.2 litre to 2 litre capacity glassware is produced, namely glasses, tumblers, cups, pots with plastic handles, press coffee makers, tea and herbal infusion pots, bowls, measuring jugs and laboratory glassware

The glassworks is expanding production onto new industries such as:

• the lighting sector
• the automotive sector

After the investment project has been completed there will be a total of 5 production lines operating in the glassworks.
